Music on the Green, August 29th 12-2pm: Candiego & Zoubi Arros

Join us this Saturday August 29th. Candiego is a newly formed duo featuring singer/songwriter Candace Dawne, and guitarist Diego Barrientos Arenas. Candace's music is known to cause a laugh and get your toes tapping. Her folk sound includes influences of flamenco/Spanish guitar, classical, reggae, jazz and blues. Diego has a clear passion for Latin guitar. His skills are impressive, as is his knowledge of world music from many different genres and eras. The two recently joined forces in Victoria to bring you want is now known as Candiego!

Zoubi Arros is a Victoria based folk musician. Born on Hornby Island, she had an environment which inspired her creativity and resourcefulness. She began writing songs at the age of sixteen. Zoubi has been a part of a few different musical projects. She continues to build on her musical career by collaborating with local talent and constantly learning.
